This object is a pair of black silk boots that are used for performances. The boots have rounded toes and also rounded heels. The soles of the shoes are made with an unfinished leather bottom which is sewn onto many layers of thick fiber. On top of the fiber is a thin blue stripe of leather before the silk fabric begins. The boot part of the silk fabric is made of a four distinct pieces two curved pieces make up the toe and two curved pieces make up the heel. There is also two tall piece of fabric sewn up the front and back making up the ankle/calf piece of the boots. There is a small slit at the back of the boots near the top. The interior of the boots is made of a blue silk which is sewn into the interior.
