Scope and content
A Chinese bowl, probably used for rice. The object is a glazed piece of porcelain, hand turned, with an all over grey green tone underglaze. This piece may be referred to as "Celadon" ware. A potter's mark appears on the underside of the bowl in blue brush. The mark looks t o be a typical "shop mark" which are not always easily transcribable. Another etched mark is located inside the bowl at the bottom . The mark is somewhat difficult to decipher, but it is most likely an ownership of felicitation symbol. Or felicitation symbol.
