The tea pot is from c. 1850. The pot is from the estate of Dick Mah and may have belonged to his grandparent, Bing Kee Mah.

Physical condition
The pot is in fair condition; the tip of the spout is chipped; there are several cracks - a 23.5 cm vertical crack to the left of the spout and across the bottom of the pot and a 3 cm horizontal crack between the vertical crack and the spout, a 11.5 cm vertical crack at the back of the pot and a 10.5 cm diagonal crack running from the middle of the vertical crack, there is a small chip in the rim near the back of the pot.
