Scope and content

The center of this doll is made with a thick cylindrical piece of wood around which the doll has been made. This wooden center has been wrapped with a red fabric which has a yellow piece of ribbon tied around the bottom. Over the top of the wood piece a small red fabric dress has been place. The red cloth is a shiny material and there are blue and yellow designs painted onto the dress with the central figure being a bird on the front and back. The arms of the dress are made of a white fabric and the doll has no hands. The head of the doll is a sphere made of a presumably thick cardboard material and is covered in a thin silky fabric. The face of the doll is a peach color and she has red lips a petite nose and black and white eyes. On top of her head she has a long set of threaded hair which is stuck down to the top of the head but flows midway down the body of the doll and is in a pony tail. Attached to the forehead is a large curved piece of gold colored metal which is ornately decorated and is a crown. There are red and green sequins attached to this crown and two small tassels hang off each end.
