Scope and content

This object is a cardboard backed cloth doll that has a soft stuffing of foam inside the fabric covering. The doll is dressed in a long pink gown with a cream colored silk design of flowers on the pink material. The neck and arm cuffs of the gown are made with black silk stripes. Only one hand of the doll is visible and it is holding a cream and yellow colored fan spread open. The head of the doll has a peach colored face with smiling lips a long nose and slanted eyes and eyebrows. The doll is wearing a hat that matches the gown it wears and has two horns swooping off the sides. There are yellow tassels with beads attached to these horns. There is also a yellow tassel attached just below the waist on the doll. Attached to the back of the doll on the cardboard is a metal stand that has two legs to prop the doll in a standing position. Lightly stamped in black ink are the words "Made in Hong Kong" on the cardboard. The doll is fairly flat besides the slight risen dimensions the inner foam allows.
