Scope and content

This object is a set of eight figurines which represent the eight immortals. The bases of all the figurines are made of a red stone that is rounded and smooth on one side with two edges being flat and squared. The edges that are flat show that the stone has holes running through it much like lava rock. Attached to the top of the red stone bases are eight figurines made of a cream/yellow colored stone with flecks of gray running through it. Each figurine differs slightly it there pose, clothes, and what they are holding. All the figurines however are standing tall and straight with their faces exposed and their heads tilted slightly to one side of their bodies. All of them wear a long robe of some kind and have serious expressions carved onto their faces. Each figuring carries a different accessory with it such as swords, canes, or umbrellas.
