A small envelope, the back of which is stamped with a commercial stamp of Chinese Characters and English lettering and reads in part "Kwong Yee Jane & Co . . . . . Hong Kong . . . ." On the front of the envelope are hand-written Chinese characters. This may have been a gift of cash (lucky money?) from the company stamped on the back to some sort of group or organization.One of the characters in the first line is identified as "salt water".

An official certificate dated April 13, 1903 stating that that Jew Fon (Chew Fon, Jew Fou?), 25 years old, native of Peu Gong, occupation Labourer, has paid the Chinese Head Tax upon his arrival in Canada at the Port of Vancouver, Steveston.
