Ken, who was the cook at the Bamboo Inn in Comox B.C. lived in the building on the left of this photo; then Mah Wee Wong, and Wong Gola. The road leads to a pig pen that was owned by Mah Kim.

Sam Yick’s house in Chinatown, Cumberland B.C. can be seen in this photo; there is a cabbage patch and a mailbox on the right side. Yick also lived on Minto Road in the Comox Valley (Vancouver Island) B.C. for a time. Date: ca. Early 1960's.
