The 2 motor vehicles are a 4 door wooden spoke passenger vehicle and the second is a wooden spoke, 2 door pick up truck, the box on the pick up truck has a metal topped, canvas sided type of canopy. These canvas sides are rolled up in this image. There are a few chickens in the foreground and a woodpile in the background. See also P 1828.

A Chinese man, Kong Sing, sitting on a horse for a portrait. The horse is standing broadside to photographer, on a street or road. The man is wearing a hat, open coat, long gloves with leather tassels, wooly chaps, boots. Behind the man is a two leveled building (business) with horizontal siding, and a fasle front. There is a sign on the second level perpendicular to building, but unable to read in negative form. These buildings are C.D. Hoy's General Store and Restaurant & Rooms. Identified as Kong Sing.

The balcony railing is wooden rails. An " OATS" sign appears between the men. There is an open balcony on the second level with a square sectioned hand guard rail around it. There are two sectioned windows on either side of the double door entrance exit.
