Wells. Seated left to right: Allen, Ernest Farrow, Mr. Clark, Foo, Frang Twigg, Fred Hussey. Chinese worker Foo, seated in front, was fatally injured at the farm in an attack by a bull named Zad.
Signatures: "Wells, Woods, Reid, Blackstock, Acheson" written on the photograph in pencil. "Edenbank Farm & Men 1899 / Mr. & Mrs. Ed. Wells - left, A.C. Wells - right, Roy Carman, Foo, Clark, Twigg, Hussey, Ernest Farrow" is written on the reverse.
