Series consists of copies of the research materials, notes and analysis compiled by Chad Reimer, PhD, for his book: "Chilliwack's Chinatowns: A History", which was published in September 2011 by the Chinese Canadian Historical Society of British Columbia and the Initiative for Student Teaching and Research in Chinese Canadian Studies at the University of British Columbia.

The series contains four sub-series:

The series consists of collected information on the Dutch, Ukrainian, East Indian, Chinese, German, and Mennonite communities of B.C., and particularly of Chilliwack compiled by Jessica A. Sutherland, Ethnic Research employed by the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society in 1979 as part of a Ethnic Research Study. The series includes summaries of interviews with immigrants, photocopies of printed items, photographs, and research notes.

The series consists of a sound recording of a lecture on the Hudson's Bay saltery at Chilliwack Mountain, and the search to determine its exact location; as well as a portion of a lecture on Chinese immigrants in B.C.

Box contains Chinese notebooks concerning dues and contributions made on the anniversaries of the Wan Yun-lung festival in Quesnelle Forks. This festival was on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month in commemoration of the death of Wan Wui Lun, Commander-in-Chief of the Hung soldiers, ca. 1734.
