A Chinese bowl probably used for rice. The object is a glazed piece of porcelain with an all over white under glaze. hand brushwork applied over the glaze decorates the exterior sides of the bowl. The brushwork consists of multi-coloured enamels depicting dragon on one side and a stylized bird on the other side. The two (2) renditions are separated and bordered by gold which surrounds the base ring and outer rim as well. Although Chinese in appearance, it is not typical of any style, and it was probably made for export. A potter's mark in red does appear on the underside of the piece. Ph1 2006 Ph2 2007

Multi-coloured enamel brush work is applied over the glaze, and decorates the face of the plate. The brushwork depicts the "Four Seasons" pattern. A potter's mark appears on the underside of the plate in red brush, but is difficult to decipher due to blotching. Ph1 2006, PH2 2007

This piece could be referred to as "Celadon" ware. A potter's mark appear on the underside of the bowl in blue brush. The mark would to be a typical "shop mark" which are often difficult to transcribe. An etched mark is visible in the mid- bottom of the bowl, and it is likely an ownership or felicitation symbol. A rectangular shaped Chinese religious shrine. The item initially has a transverse frontal base segment and two square base rear supports. There is a horizontal base that has vertical segments attached to it which makes it appear similar to a stage. There is a recession at the back to whcih have been nailed four nails. From the topmost nail ther has been hung a red cloth artifact that consists of two long "tails" and a central "bunched" area. A roughly rectangular component appears across the top of the artifact. A potter's mark appears on the underside of the plate in red brush. The mark is worn in the middle but looks to be a "hall" mark as opposed to a "date" mark.
